HELLO AUTUMN

How beautiful it is to see the coming of Autumn, Our hearts get filled with the richness of the season, Such a wonderful sight it is to see the trees, Spreading colours of Autumn in the sky. How extraordinary the path becomes, Decorated with colourful leaves, Facing the sky that shines so bright. The rustling of the leaves that I hear, Prepared to welcome change without fear.

THE DEVIL

Look how the devil looks down, Down at the puny people from high above. It smiles when it hears them lie, It laughs when it hears them cry. Sometimes with its hideous looks, Sometimes with the kindest mask, It reaches people at various hours, To take away their peaceful mind. The devil comes in different forms, Seeking to dampen the cheerful smile, Crushing the goodness from all, It aims to make the good fall. The devil feeds on the weak, Let's not give that what it seeks, It's wise to be strong, And fight for the wrong.

SECRET OF LIFE

What a beautiful sight it is to see the birds Chirping in the sky. A little desire arouses from the quietest of my heart. How does it feel to be wandering in the bright blue sky? Like a dream come true even in the darkest night. Dwelling in the crowded city streets arouses thoughts of worry, I wonder why everyone is in such a hurry. Ignoring the beautiful road the people pass by, Busy in their world of extreme stress that never say goodbye. I say to the dear people nearby, Why think so much of things that never live by, Embrace joy like the sky shines embracing the stars, Happiness is the secret of Life that always stay close and never lets you lose hope.

PEACE

Peace, a simple word that blankets the entire world, A feeling that every living soul yearns for, Yet only a few manages to win. It's peace that satisfies our hungry soul, It's peace that makes us one, It's peace that closes the door to sorrow, And opens the door to a beautiful Morrow.

VICTIM OF HAPPINESS

The rustling of the trees brought a smile on her serene face, The waves of the sea added freshness to her life, The chirping of the birds reminded her of her joyous childhood days, Winter evenings reunited her with the lost memories of a loved one, The pecking of the woodpecker made her sway in joy from one place to another, She felt a heavenly touch when the wind brushed against her cheeks, She welcomed the thunder and lightening with absolute mirth, Looking at the Golden pond would give her eyes immense pleasure. Everything in her was different and special, Nothing in the world could bring her sadness, Instead, it brought her a bag full of happiness, Even nature couldn't contain it's joy seeing her merriment. Who was this unnatural soul? Who was this beauty that breathed life into all? She was the unmatched warrior, The one whom sorrow could never touch, She was the one who could only spread delight. She was non-other than Season, a Victim of happiness.

The Rag Picker's Dream

With dreams in their hearts, they walked ahead, Crossing the lanes of their nest, Greeting all the fellow mates on their way. Stopping by to see children with bags going to school, A part of their hearts felt like walking behind them, Yet coming back to reality to take up the everyday challenge they walked ahead with heavy eyes. Reaching their destination they pushed all their desires aside only to collect that wasn't theirs. Once again the dream of several children got buried under the rags that weren't theirs.

To A Photographer Friend

With the mind of a painter, Hands of a magician. You shoot faces with your lenses, But capture souls with your creation. Adding colours to the BnW, Subtracting tints to get that perfect film. You bring all the images together, To create a beautiful picture. The girl with a tripod, Not waiting for anybody's nod, As fierce as the magical wands She weaves memories with her beautiful hands.

THE LOCKDOWN GIRL

Sitting with a notepad and pen Scratching her head from end to end Where to start how to start? What to write what not to write? Leaving her pen aside, Not knowing what was beside, Astonished to see the tea turn brown to blue, She decided to write some lines on the dew. A few drops of rain with the hail, Turned her mood to ruddy from pale. Seeing the rainbow in the sky, She exclaimed, "Oh my my!!" She dreamt of starts in the broad daylight, And thought of the sun in the darkest of night. Different from the hues of life, She was the girl with a hundred smiles .

THE MOONLIGHT OF PEACE

Away from the humdrum of life, I found peace in one corner of her heart. Some had seen it as natural, While some saw it as as made. Some had seen it as special, While some named it as the other. Even then, fighting the battle of humanity that engulfs the love of purity, I rose like a phoenix finding peace in the shadows of my moonlight, that always gives me peace. Yes it was the the love for my mother nature.

LIVE TILL YOU BREATHE

We come to this world in the form of an innocent child unaware of the meaning of death. We leave this world with the memories of the time spent on this earth. Surprisingly, we forget to reflect on the day we were born everyday but only on our birthday. Why celebrate only on that particular date on our calendars and not every day? This Life, this moment, this breath, this feeling and most importantly this YOU are special. Fill your life with memories of myth & keep it alive even after your death.
