The Rag Picker's Dream

With dreams in their hearts, they walked ahead,
Crossing the lanes of their nest,
Greeting all the fellow mates on their way.
Stopping by to see children with bags going to school,
A part of their hearts felt like walking behind them,
Yet coming back to reality to take up the everyday challenge they walked ahead with heavy eyes.
Reaching their destination they pushed all their desires aside only to collect that wasn't theirs.
Once again the dream of several children got buried under the rags that weren't theirs.
